Family therapy helps families adjust to the developmental changes of family members. While family members may need additional individual support, family therapy is designed to increase a family’s ability to adapt to challenges as a group. There is a strong focus on peaceful parenting with the intent to enhance parent-child relationships. Skills include boundary setting, communication and behavioral management. Parent consultations and co-parenting consultations for multi-home families are available.
Individual youth services include mentoring and support for children and adolescents. There is a particular emphasis on self-esteem training, self-confidence building and social emotional learning. Skills that are taught include self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relational skills, and responsible decision making.
Fees are $135 per 50 minute session.
80 minute and 2 hour sessions are available.
